All ordering of our products is done via our offsite secure ordering processors. When clicking a 'proceed to checkout' link on a products page you will be transferred to the payment processors secure site. You will see that you have entered a secure webpage by seeing that the http at the top of your browser has been replaced by https. So, in short, SupaShop holds pages of information regarding our products, holds no information regarding visitors and when necessary transfers visitors to secure and encrypted payment processors when an order is finalised.

Server-side information collection

As stated, SupaShop.biz gathers no information about visitors. However the server on which these pages resides does. The information collected is basic and standard for all web hosting. Web server statistics include the number of visitors, their IP addresses and geographical locations and details regarding browsers and PC operating systems. This information is collected by default by all web-servers and its collection poses no threat to any visitor to a website. Please note that the secure offsite payment processing sites mentioned above do not reside on the same servers as SupaShop. Why collect such information? The basic default information gathered by web-servers is used for statistical information regarding a websites use. Also, the information regarding individual users (that is location, browser type etc) is used to tailor and modify the website. This is done to enhance the experience of the visitor and present a easily viewable and understood site.
